What can different community voices tell us about the future of Mundaring?
Every community experiences life differently.
As part of Future Mundaring, we are inviting people with lived experience, specialist knowledge and strong community connections to participate in a series of focus groups.
These conversations will help us better understand the opportunities, challenges and aspirations of different groups within our community. Alongside community workshops, surveys and other engagement opportunities, focus groups will contribute valuable insights that help build a shared picture of what matters most to the people who live, work and connect with the Shire.
Places are limited and participation is by Expression of Interest (EOI).
Why Focus Groups?
Why are we holding focus groups?
Future Mundaring is about understanding the diverse experiences that make our community unique.
While community workshops bring together people from across the Shire, focus groups create space for more detailed conversations around the experiences, needs and aspirations of particular community groups.
These discussions will help identify opportunities, challenges and priorities that may not always emerge through broader engagement activities.
