Review of Mobile Vendors on Shire Land Policy (HS-02)

Project Overview

Have Your Say – Mobile Food Vendor Policy Review

Shire of Mundaring is currently reviewing its Mobile Vendors on Shire-Owned/Managed Land Policy (HS-02). As part of this process, we’re inviting mobile food vendors and permanent food business operators to share feedback on how the current policy is working and where improvements can be made.

We’re particularly interested in hearing your views on:

  • Overall satisfaction with the current policy
  • The impact of mobile vendors or fixed premises on your business
  • The appropriateness of the 100m separation buffer between mobile and permanent vendors
  • Practicality of existing operational requirements (e.g., noise, waste, vehicle removal)
  • Fairness of permit fees
  • The role of mobile vendors in activating local community spaces

Your insights will directly inform the review and help us shape a balanced, practical and effective policy for the future.

The survey will take approximately 5 to 10 minutes to complete and is entirely voluntary.

If you have any questions about the survey or would prefer to provide feedback by phone, please contact Shekofeh Elhani at

shekofeh.elhani@mundaring.wa.gov.au or call (08) 9290 6665.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and contribute to this important review.
