At the Ordinary Council Meeting on 10 March 2026, Council resolved that the draft Signage and Advertisement Local Planning Policy (LPP) shall be advertised for public comment. The advertising period for the draft local planning policy has now concluded.
Draft Signage and Advertisements Local Planning Policy
The purpose of the draft Signage and Advertisements LPP is to:
- define signage and advertisements that are exempt from requiring development arpproval; and
- establish general requirements applying to signage and advertisements; and
- provide guidance for the determination of development applications for non-exempt signage and advertisements
within the Shire of Mundaring.
Advertising Period
The Shire carried out public advertising ofthe draft local planning policy between 20 March 2026 and 17 April 2026. All submissions recieved by the Shire will be reviewed and considered in the preparation of the local planning policy, prior to presenting the local planning policy to Council to consider its adoption.
