At its meeting held on 10 September 2024, Council adopted the Shire's Heritage Requirements for Planning Proposals Local Planning Policy (LPP).
The adopted LPP clarifies the Shire’s expectations and guides planning decisions on places of heritage value, including places currently listed in the Shire’s Heritage List and Local Heritage Survey.
Shire Officers shall have regard to the LPP when considering Planning proposals. Applicants and landowners are also to have regard to the LPP when proposing any works at heritage places.
