Community Health and Wellbeing Informing Strategy

Project Overview

In line with requirements under the new Public Health Act 2016, Shire of Mundaring is currently developing its first local Community Health and Wellbeing Informing Strategy (formally known as Public Health Plan). This strategy will prioritise actions that seek to support healthier lifestyle opportunities, environments and outcomes for our residents with the aim to maximise community health and wellbeing.

Your input is important and will assist in shaping the Shire's Community Health and Wellbeing Informing Strategy. To achieve this we invited local community members to complete a health and wellbeing survey, conducted an interactive youth survey activity, hosted a resident and ratepayer group workshop and participated ina number of yarning sessions with local Aboriginal people.

The consultation period closed on 30 November 2018.

For further information please contact the Shire's Community Health and Wellbeing Informing Strategy Co-ordinator on 9290 6715 or email CCE@mundaring.wa.gov.au.
